Community Playground Build Week!
Our community playground build will take place this week, Tuesday, August 15th and Wednesday, August 16th! We’ll get started at 9am on Tuesday, 8/15 and 8am on 8/16. No special skills required! If you’re signed up to volunteer or if you decide last minute to come down and help, we are grateful! Please come to the build site around the side of the school near the softball field. All build volunteers will be asked to check in and sign a waiver (provided by Parkitects, the company we are working with to build our new playground) and must wear closed toed shoes (preferably sneakers or work boots). Bring along basic hand tools if you have them (ratchet, rake). Snacks, water and lunch will be provided. We will proceed with the build rain or shine- work will be suspended in the event of severe weather only. Thank you for the support!
