Meet DeRuyter's Valedictorian and Salutatorian

   My plans for after graduation are attending Utica University for nursing. I hope to later extend my education and career by going back to school and becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I plan to move to NYC and work in one of the hospitals there, maybe try out travel nursing. My favorite part about high school was always the connections and friendships I made with people, whether that was through organizations or sports. I was always very close with my classmates because of how small our school is, and I wouldn't trade that for the world. My advice to lower classmen moving up, is stay ahead on everything. Procrastination is the absolute worst and it only causes more stress on yourself. Good luck to everyone, I hope to see you guys sometime in the future!
