Welcome to Mrs. Forrest's 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies Please Welcome MR. WENTWORTH!!!!!! Mr. Wentworth is currently a senior at SUNY Oswego. He will graduate in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Adolescent Education (7-12 History) degree. He will be student teaching in 7th and 8th grade Social Studies until March 15, 2012. Mr. Wentworth grew up locally and is familiar with rural districts. He is very involved in his home community and we look forward to him being a part of DCS. The 7th and 8th grade curriculum is a two year chronologically based program studying the United States. We begin with pre-Columbian times and end with present times. Students will be experiencing block scheduling this year where they will have class every other day. This will be a change for students and they will need to learn to manage their time and homework.
