In August 2017, the DeRuyter Central School District Board of Education commissioned a study to examine the district's staffing patterns to deterine if is achieving maximum efficiency. More specifically, the focus of the study was to examine staffing patterns and enrollment to make recommendations for potential realignment of personnel and other resource utilization.
The educational consulting firm of Castallo and Silky, LLC was engaged to conduct the study. Dr. William Silky and Dr. Jessica Cohen collected, organized, and analyzed the data contained in the report.
